FASHION CLUB 70 ADDS A HANDFUL OF ICONIC BRANDS TO ITS PORTFOLIO FOR FW24/25

Antwerp, December 2023 - Fashion Club 70 is proud to announce the addition of five iconic accessory and fashion brands. The Benelux fashion company is known to surprise every season with a package of brand new brands. This is no different for FW24/25, alongside well-known names such as Napapijri, Philippe Model and K-way, Fashion Club 70 is also introducing a strong children's fashion range and celebrating the return of iconic brands such as Coach and Kate Spade.

BRANDS ON THE MOVE

Starting with the FW24/25 season, Belgian fashion distributor Fashion Club 70 is adding ​ five international accessory and fashion brands to its already impressive wholesale portfolio. The first of these is Napapijri, the brand has been on a major rise in our market for several years. As icing on the cake for this growth, Fashion Club 70 will ensure quality distribution between several outlets in the Benelux.

"That the mid-market is struggling in recent seasons is no secret to anyone in the industry. That is why this season we have focused on recruiting what we term as contemporary brands. In other words, brands from the higher segment or with the ambition to grow into the higher segment. But telling a strong story is also a decisive factor. After all, this is something that seems to be increasingly important to end consumers, and we listen to it. This way, our brand portfolio remains a reflection of everything that is moving in our market," said Jessy Vander Meiren, Commercial Director Fashion Club 70.

And they take that move quite literally at Fashion Club 70. In addition to Napapijri, the company also welcomes globally renowned outerwear brand K-Way. Owned by an Italian company since 2012 and in the process of an impressive relaunch. With the help of the Benelux fashion company, the label promises to serve the Benelux market in a refreshing way. Today, K-way is a fashionable brand that associates itself with sport and exercise, without forgetting its core message: waterproof jackets with excellence.

COMEBACK OF THE DECADE

Back on the scene are accessory and shoe brands: Coach and Kate Spade. The two brands that previously made it big in the Benelux thanks to Fashion Club 70 are back home. Coach was proclaimed by fashion bibles such as Harpers Bazaar, Elle and Vogue this year as the bag for 2024. Indeed, the handbag label is making an unprecedented comeback after being quiet around this for a long time.

But Kate Spade is also back. After a lot of setbacks, including the shocking death of founder Kate Valentine (read: Spade) herself, the brand ushered in a new chapter in 2022. With two new head designers: Tom Mora and Jennifer Lyu, the label still stands for upbeat fashion, but with a more classic twist. "For those familiar with Kate Spade, the FW24/25 collection will look dowdy, but the brand certainly hasn't lost its playfulness. We suspect that the brand is now even more in tune with the needs and wants of the Benelux consumer."

Finally, Philippe Model has also found a home in Benelux. Whereas retailers used to have to travel to Paris or Milan to source the brand, from now on this can also be done at Fashion Club 70. This brings the brand closer to home. Another example of the different ways in which Fashion Club 70 wants to serve the Benelux market as well as possible in consultation with the accessory and fashion brands in its portfolio.

FOR THE NEXT GENERATION FASHION LOVERS

Last season, Fashion Club 70 was already flirting with a children's fashion offering, from this season onwards this has taken concrete shape. Thanks to the new children's collections by Napapijri and K-way as well as the already existing Liu Jo Kids, Moose Knuckles Kids and Kurt Geiger Kids collections, Fashion Club 70 gains a full-fledged segment. A conscious move given the growth opportunities here as parents attach more and more importance to their offspring's fashion and trends.
